NWDC Events Calendar 2013
As always at our events we need helpers to make the events run smoothly, so if you have half an hour or an hour to spare we would love your assistance. From timing an obstacle to adding up figures, to opening a ring or gate to let competitors in and out of the arena or field, every little helps. Contact the event organiser to let them know if you can lend a hand.

Following our decision to POSTPONE the Lowther 2 Day Event due to snow the new dates are 15 and 16 June 2013. See Entry forms page. Open for entries 4 May 2013.
The parking area will be open from 12 noon on 14 June.

NWDC Subscriptions
Don’t forget Membership subscriptions are due 1st January 2013. There is a Subs form on the back of the Newsletter, and you can now pay by Standing Order. For all the details see the Newsletter.
Safety assessment is a BHDTA requirement for all our new driving members.
We would very much like to hear from anyone who is willing to hold a drive or small fun gathering. If there is a type of event you would like to see run please let us know and we can put it into the schedule -- if you don’t tell us what you want we can’t do it!
Please make sure you let organisers know if you’re planning to attend a drive or event.
Insurance
Please ensure you have a copy of your insurance (minimum 3rd party) with you at all events as checks will be made throughout the season. You may not join a drive or compete at an event with us without such insurance. The easiest / cheapest way of obtaining this is by joining the British Driving Society. Drives and active events are for paid-up members only unless otherwise indicated.
Make sure your insurance covers the animal you will be driving. A basic safety test is required for new driving members. NOTE - To avoid possible disappointment, we are going to try to avoid safety-testing at events or drives. Please contact Jen to arrange a test beforehand.
The North West Driving Club would like to thank all our event hosts for allowing us to use their land for our events throughout the year. We also thank all our helpers who make it possible to run the events for us all to enjoy.
